Be better yet

In times of doubt
one wonders what will come
and ponders on the thoughts 
that once one had

Have we made decisions 
to regret – to anger and frustrate
or will those same decisions
come to portray the whole

We cannot be sure 
of what the future holds
a sunset needs cloud 
to entertain the ray 

Just as the sun needs time 
away from sky of blue
to sow the seed of rain 
that comes anew

Leap to the message 
that tells us – stand the test
and vent uncertainty – 
be better yet
