Sagacity and forethought Utter not a word - Folly takes control

The croc feeds on cattle – The hippo capsizes a boat In the woods - a grizzly’s foretold

The magpie swoops and hovers in the southern spring - panic sleeps and dreams

Under water the cuttlefish jumps out of itself – the shrimp hides under rock

She is a sketch from life that wakes defiant – the din of dawn escapes her

The promontory the valley road look past the sky to wings of steel

In summer-time. from Cold a sniff of air refreshed The warmth retaining

The shallow river flowed free of pain The willow tree lamented - The swallow carried hope upon migration

A sky of emptied tears Nightfall turns warmth into winter - A wan smile - soothing

the frog left anger for tranquility the pond turned the corner gently a precursor to the time of autumn leaves
