Deliverance –

Bring cause for joy

Take the mantle –

Standing – speaking

Believing in

One’s own success

Attend the Queen –

One wills the rest

With fortitude

One waits to serve

The mantle leant

Then handed on

And leadership –

A thing one passes

Make most of time –

On lectern crested

A ‘home’ well-built

And then augmented

For a time

One recreated

Then reached out

To those well rested
