And when the day it turned to night

And the sun - it turned to moon

I knew I could not avail myself

I had left it all too soon

And when Summer turned itself to

Spring and winter turned to Fall

I knew I had lost what meant the

Most – I knew it even more

And yet in time I sprung to life

And felt a newfound sail

That lent itself to simple pleasures

And left behind betrayal

And life became of what we made

And what we both desired

A flower bloomed from nature's gifts

And left us all the while

All the while, time stood still

And suddenly - with glee

I could not live without you here

Your love had set me free.
