The window blows and knocks the dream Well past full-bright distinction And wallows in the afternoon Perusing fact or fiction She rises up and like a leaf Floats the breeze beyond her And nestles in the creviced seam Of triumph over yonder

A whistle blows – silence grows Alerted to a warning Like iridescence in the sky One lustrous summer morning Darting from the here and now The future’s in alignment To my cloud – I float – I fly A life’s divine refinement
Fear
And what’s to be said When dastardly Hell is done And the road once walked Has since been run From the sea to the valley Oh may it be clear That the hike to the mountaintop Will e’er shed one’s fear

Time raced past midday to afternoon light and saw a glint in the sun on the field in the farm Smile dropped in - Joy came to stay and the dog said will anyone throw a ball and come play

On one knee he looks into her eyes a wan smile sleeping there and seeping through His pallid face a picture of distraught despair his life a salty sense of breathless air
